If you’ve been following me lately you may have noticed a few features of vintage jewelry from Havana’s Heydey. I discovered this vintage shop through Instagram so make sure and check her out @havanasheydey. She’s from the Pittsburgh area and has an inspiring story. The classic hoops I am wearing in this photo are from her shop.
I love a classic black and white look. Nothing says classic more than that. So here I am wearing this beautiful textural bordered skirt from Talbots with my silly little gal, Harper wearing a fun dress from H&M. I wore this first look during our weekend trip to Geneva-on-the-Lake with some of our dearest friends. It was really hot so I figured why not pair it with a homemade crop-top. I used one of my tee shirts and shortened it by cutting it to the length I preferred and created a hem to make it a crop. Super simple.
Today I wore my skirt with a miniature heart printed button-down top. This length of skirt is not typical for me. I usually like my skirts slightly above the knee but I adore the length of this skirt. Very classic and elegant. It just goes to show, don’t disregard something at first sight because you might love it on.
Also, in the first image you can see my gold necklace, which if you couldn’t tell is the map of the world laid flat ❤️ This was a surprise gift from one of my sisters, Beth. She saw a board of mine on Pinterest labeled, “I Want This” and surprised me with the necklace in the mail. What a sweet sister 😘.
So tell me, what style are you looking forward to trying this upcoming summer?
Your Faithful Dreamer,
Courtney
