Happy Hump Day readers! Today I decided to show you how accessories can make a difference with your look. I chose this fun jumpsuit to use as my muse. I visited six different local shops in Marietta, Ohio today to illustrate two things.
1. The obvious. Show you how I changed up my looks.
2. Show you what local resources you have in the MOV. In my opinion, thereās something special about shopping small businesses. If you never really do, this is me urging you to do so…like now. Seriously, go tomorrow!š
This first look was created by accessories from Twisted Sisters Boutique. The necklace and purse are made from coconut shells! How cool is that?! I love the 70ās vibe it gives it. I feel like I should be on an episode of, Threeās Company (š¶Come on knock on our doooooorš¶)š.
Next stop was Emleigh and Mama Bās. I decided to use a layering piece by utilizing this cute floral top. I love the dark contrast and drama it brings. This is definitely a ālook at meā look. My fedora helped tie in the rest of the look along with her dark feather earrings and stacked bracelets also found inside her shop.
Now for Wit & Whimzy. I can always find fun and whimsical accessories here. I wanted to add more color so I chose multi-colored items. The tassel earrings and hot pink pendant necklace were the perfect accent colors to brighten up this look. I loved adding the wristlet for more color and my infamous mixing of patternsā¤ļø
As I continued on my jaunt down Front Street I stopped in Sugar Maple Boutique and utilized this oversized denim jacket to show a more casual look that you could wear on a cooler summer evening. I added the fuschia bag and fun gray statement earrings with a gold medallion necklace. Itās fun to play with other colors. Gray, green, pink and gold…itās fun!
Weāre gettkng closer to the end of Front Street which led me to my next stop at Dadās Primitive Workbench. Here I decided to create a cute beach look. Super casual and laid back. I paired a yellow āsunset chasināā top to add a different color along with a beaded long necklace that helped bring out some of the blue Ā in the jumper. Simple and effortless šš»
My last stop of the day was at Teri Annās. Ā She has this adorable layering piece that was perfect for the summer. The mesh look keeps it breathable AND itās versatile! There are multiple ways to wear this piece so make sure to stop in and check it out. I saw it also came in turquoise and black! And how fun is this clutch? Iām going to call it the mermaid clutch because it reminds me of a mermaid tail with the different colors it has in it. I also paired the look with this delicate āX and Oā necklace that has a small turquoise stone next to it. Simple and chic!
Well, thanks for āwalkingā along with me to search for some really great accessories for this jumpsuit. Remember, just because itās a one- piece doesnāt mean you canāt wear something over top of it. Like I always say, have fun and think outside the box!
Now, tell me…which look was your favorite?!
Your Faithful Dreamer,
Courtney
Suparb! Each combination.. keep aharing, stay motivated..
