Now, moving on to some of the fall product. Here I am wearing a top that is a beautiful rust color with cinched sides to bring a flattering look to the waistline. I also love how this creates room for my growing baby bump! In fact, everything I am sharing in this post is perfect for early maternity wear, at least for me it has been. So to all those expectant mama’s don’t think you have to stick with maternity clothes the entire pregnancy. I paired it with the same white pants as the previous image because it shows a way to wear it now.

This next top is ADORABLE! I love how I can transition it into a fall business look by throwing on a cape blazer but keep it relevant to summer by pairing those cute sandals from before. It even looks better without the cape blazer. The exposed back is a delightful surprise and helps bring a bit of sexiness for a date after work. The necklace coordinated perfectly with all of the pleasant earth tones within it. The only thing you need to change for this look to transition into legit fall is by switching out the shoes to a pair of booties. I loved pairing black with it because of the warm color blocking. Black brings in the drama. Those same white pants I’ve worn would work right now too.
Now we all know that I am always encouraging my followers to think outside the box and experiment with things you don’t typically gravitate towards. Well, here is a prime example of me practicing what I preach. This corn maize sweater is spectacular but not my typical color that I feel confident in because of my skin-tone and hair color. But like I have said before, I believe you can wear just about any color when paired with the right accessories. For instance, I paired this turquoise statement necklace to bring a brighter color near my face. I also wore a dark gray denim to bring contrast to the look. And for an element of surprise I decided to wear fuchsia heels. I now feel more confident in this color because I have strategically styled it to make it work for me. This top is by far the softest article of clothing I have ever had on my body. NO JOKE!
This last top from Peyton & Peppy was one that I was drawn to due to it’s uniqueness. It’s an oversized button-down I felt would be a challenge for people to know how to wear. This top could easily look too baggy if it isn’t styled properly. This is one of those pieces that you play around with to fit your own body-type in a way that you find flattering. I chose to show it tied in the middle at the waist because I am only 5’3″ and if I left it all one length it would probably swallow me whole. But I love how adding the tie helps lengthen my legs and create interest. I also left it a little more unbuttoned than I typically would to give it a more feminine feel since it is oversized. I also loved pairing my distressed denim to bring some edginess as well as my fuchsia shoes again to add a hint of color. Don’t be afraid to add an accent color to warm, neutral tones too.
The owner of Peyton & Peppy, Stephanie has been such a pleasure to work with when I collaborate with her. She really caters to any need while shopping in her store. She is passionate about the product that she selects for her inviting boutique. I especially love the “live” videos she does on facebook to show new products. It really helps those who can’t visualize certain items on themselves to see how a product looks on. It also helps save the customer time if they see something they like because they know exactly what they are shopping for when they walk through the door. Make sure and watch for the new fall line to launch and stop in to shop seasonally appropriate products now! Want to take a look now? Visit this link.
