I’m so ready to wear fall fashion I could burst! The rich tones on the trees and the crisp breeze brings out the nostalgia of growing up in Charleston, WV. The rolling hills and the school buses making the leaves swirl around always made me smile. There was always the perfect blend of warm and cool in the breeze.
I was so excited to show you some of my latest finds that I went straight to my bedroom to snap these pics. This golden rust color is the epitome of fall. It has the chenille texture that makes you feel so cozy and ready to visit the pumpkin patches. I styled this sweater multiple ways to show casual and dressy. The sweater, scarf and vest are all lovely pieces from Dad’s Primitive Workbench. I always look forward to finding fall pieces in Charlie’s store because he really knows how to find the perfect sweaters. And how cute is that backpack from his shop too? I also love that these sweaters are the perfect weight for manipulating different ways to style the sweater. I can do the french tuck or tie it in a knot. The lavender is such a beautiful on-trend color for fall that reminds me of the sunsets in October.
Speaking of cozy, this hoodie is all things soft and comfy. Literally, it’s one of the softest things I’ve ever had on my body and I will pretty much live in this top at home and running errands (I’m wearing it as I type this post). It’s a delightful mix of casual yet elevated piece because it’s nicer than a sweatshirt because of the fibers in the fabric. I loved pairing it with warm tones because it is a less predictable way to wear it. If you want to have a date with friends for coffee with the kids this is also the perfect top to throw on with leggings and sneakers. It really is a great piece to own.
Special details on buttons are always a fun choice. Just like these wooden ones on yet another soft, knit fabric. Again, with the brown tone. I can’t get enough of it ladies.
I’m not going to lie to you. I’m still very surprised of how long the cold-shoulder sleeves have stayed on-trend. The main differences with the cold-shoulder trend this fall is the special sleeve details like the ones you see here. The teal mixed with the leopard is gorgeous but this color looks perfect with any neutral item.
The gray top has me swooning because of all the layers involved in the sleeves. The waistline is also located in a flattering spot for most women. It’s a great piece to add to your closet for a special look.
I’ll end on this note. All of my tops in this post are from Dad’s Primitive Workbench and he always has buy one get one half off on his boutique items. If you need sweaters then I encourage you to swing by his shop and load up on some because he ALWAYS has a great selection. And remember, when you use promo code: RANDOMOSITY740 you can receive an additional 15% off on top of his usual promotion. Make sure and tag me if you purchase one of his items. I’d love to see how you style yours!
