This holiday season is usually filled with office parties, family gatherings and celebrating the new year. A lot of times my clients struggle finding a piece they can wear again. I have some great news! I teamed up with Dad’s Primitive Workbench for an unexpected treat. A beautiful pleated jumper! AND it comes in three different colors. If you’ve been following me for a while you know that I love jumpers because they’re easy to layer in order to create a new look.
These three looks were all created using the black jumper.
Look 1: I’m ready for Thanksgiving by layering a fun distressed sweater over the jumper.
Look 2: Ready for date night (I’ll throw on my faux leather jacket to keep warm).
Look 3: New Year’s Eve, here I come (I’d recommend switching up the shoes with a nice stiletto pump in a fun accent color). The toboggan and scarf will help keep me warm so I don’t have to worry about lugging around a big winter coat too.
This next jumper is a fun color that falls within the pastel category. Don’t be afraid to wear lighter colors this season. During the winter months it’s easy to get stuck wearing neutrals but don’t forget to bring some color into your life.
Look 1: I love this kimono sweater layered over this jumper with a fun colorful shoe that blends nicely with the different colors in the layering piece.
Look 2: Throw on a sweater and add in some more color. Switch up the shoes with a winter suede and stick to the pastel aesthetic.
This last color is one of my faves! It’s called clay but it reminds me of rose gold. This color can be fun to work with because you could add in some teal or bring in some earth tones. Maybe even try a monochromatic theme with something like a blush tone.
Look 1: I am swooning over this look. I love the faux fur scarf because it brings dramatics to the outfit and helps brighten my skin tone.
Look 2: This look is a little funky but can be fun for the right person. I loved teal with the clay color and decided to tie knots on the side of the pants to provide a different style and funk it up a little. Next time I would layer the heck out of this top with chunky necklaces to give it more of a winter boho style.
This next top is a fun take on a winter cold-shoulder. The velvet texture helps provide warmth and has a generous weight to it. I love mixing different fabrics together such as this velvet with my faux leather skirt (not from Dad’s Primitive).
I love adding a hint of color and print into an all black look. The earrings blend nicely with my shoes and adds just enough color to soften the look.
As always, I love teaming up with Dad’s Primitive Workbench because he always has such a variety of pieces to work with and can dress so many different styles within his shop. I also like to remind people to think of this little boutique because there are some hidden gems in there.
I love their holiday decor this time of year for Christmas decorations! I’m a sucker for buffalo plaid and they have plenty of it! Also, how awesome is this, on Small Business Saturday the Buttered Maple Syrup candle you see pictured above is actually going to be on promotion for $17.99! That never happens and it smells delish. Also, HUGE news…his clothing will be Buy Two Get One FREE!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!!
