Can you believe there are only 22 days until Christmas!? Crazy talk, right? Good thing your personal stylist (eh hem, that’s me) is here to help you for all of your holiday styling needs. Below you’ll find some of my suggestions to help you get through the holiday parties, dinners and family gatherings. Don’t have time to go shopping? I can help with that. Keep reading until the end to find out how. As for now? I’m sharing 15 days worth of fashion pieces to show how you can add each piece to create a classic, capsule holiday wardrobe (I have a surprise for you at the end too).
Day 1: The Polka Dot Top

Many people are afraid of a printed top especially if they are busty. Truth be told as long as the fit is right for your figure you can absolutely do a print. So why do I suggest a polka dot top? It can easily turn into a festive look! Add a red or black velvet pant and you now appear festive!
Day 2: The Black Pant

A nice slim leg ankle pant is perfect for this time of year. A lot of my clients stress out about the idea of an ankle pant because of the snow and what type of shoe to wear with them. Never fear, you can always wear a sheer black tight underneath to help provide an extra layer if you want to wear a pump or even an open-toe shoe. Boots? Simply wear a low-cut bootie and you can always cuff the bottom hem of the pant if need be.
Day 3: The Cable Knit Sweater

A cable-knit sweater is a classic piece that will NEVER go out of style. It looks great with jeans, skirts, dress pants, etc. You need one!
Day 4: Denim Shirt

A denim or chambray button-up is the perfect piece to layer underneath a sweater. For instance, the cable knit sweater would work perfectly over top of this along with the black dress pants. This is a staple piece for all year long.

A satin top brings an upscale vibe to a look. For example, if you were to wear this cami with the black dress pants and a blinged out statement necklace, you would look stunning and all sorts of fancy! Something about different fabrics can really elevate a look. Throw on a velvet blazer for an even more divine look.
Day 6: The Pleated Midi-skirt

Something about a pleated skirt creates such an impact to your look. Wear a sweater or basic tee with this style skirt and you instantly look dressier and classy.
Day 7: Plaid

Something plaid is a must during this season and what better way to incorporate than with a scarf? Reds, greens or black buffalo plaid are all great choices for a classic holiday look.
Day 8: Something Velvet

Remember when I mentioned a velvet blazer earlier? You don’t have to have an outer layer that is velvet but something with this texture is a necessity. Whether it be a velvet headband, clutch or top it will help create a fabulous look.
Day 9: The Clutch

Are you surprised that I am just now showing an animal print piece (lol)? A clutch will be fairly important this time of year for parties. Why not add in some print and go with something like this hair-on-hide cheetah print piece? It’s not too dressy to where you can’t carry it on a regular basis and it’s not so casual that you feel like it’s ruined your dressier look.
Day 10: The Jacket

A dress coat is something you need to add to your closet if you don’t already have one. I know, I know it’s cold out and your puffer jacket and parka are calling your name but switch to something else. This military-inspired coat is a striking piece to help take your style up a notch.
Day 11: The Printed Shoe

Adding in a printed neutral shoe will take your style places you’ve never even imagined! Pair these with your black pants or pleated skirt with your new cable-knit sweater along with these sexy pumps. Then top it off with your military coat. Now you’ve got quite the look going for ya!
Day 12: The Hat

Now is the time ladies. Add a winter fedora into your wardrobe so that you can look dressed to the nines head-to-toe. The more layers, the more stylish you look and it helps keep you warm during these cold months.
Day 13: The Go-to Dress

Finding a go-to dress like this one is going to be very helpful. It doesn’t have to be black, maybe it’s winter white or gray. Make sure you have a dress that is easy for you to dress-up and accessorize different ways so that you can get multi-use this season.
Day 14: The Belt

Make sure and add a belt to your accessories collection. This is an easy way to add a tailored look to your outfit. This color provides warmth and is a good neutral for just about any color it’s paired with. Add it to that look I mentioned earlier; the black pants with the cable-knit sweater and denim shirt. Perfect for family gatherings.
Day 15: The Statement Piece

Whether you’re an earring chick or necklace gal make sure and add a statement piece with your jewelry. It’s going to make any outfit more festive. Stick to a neutral color or maybe even a cluster of pearls. Either way, make an impact with your jewelry and you’ll be all set!
