I don’t know about you but I love me some cozy sweaters but sometimes people get stuck on how to wear them in a non-typical way. For instance, for this first look I am wearing two tops from Dad’s Primitive Workbench in Marietta, Ohio. I love this shop’s selections of sweaters because they are unique, comfortable and versatile. This crop plaid button-down paired with my distressed sweater provides an edgy look but also warmth because of the layers. This crop plaid piece is so great and I can’t wait to wear it after the baby bump is gone and rock it all buttoned up. I also love the agate necklace to add a special piece of jewelry.
Here’s a side-view to show off some more of the plaid top. I also paired it with earrings from the same place. In fact, everything in this post that I mention is from Dad’s Primitive Workbench! With this pose you get a nice view of Baby Sawyer too 😉
As you know I adore accessories and think they truly help complete a look. In case you don’t notice some of the jewelry I am wearing with these looks, here’s a close-up for you. I didn’t rock the Mama Bear earrings but couldn’t NOT feature them because I think they are so darn cute!
If you’ve spoken to me this season I keep talking about how much I love the chenille fabric for sweaters because I feel like a swaddled up baby. And then when you pair it with a blanket scarf? Psh! Forget about it. You’ll find me in random corners of rooms cozied up taking a nap! LOL. But in all seriousness, this look would be super cute for casual Christmas parties.
This sweater is a beautiful royal purple which is a gorgeous hue but not one that I personally gravitate towards until this time around. And are you kidding me with this beautiful orange scarf? The mixture of textures is my favorite.
Now this next cutie is my favorite fall color and I love the fringe detail. The neckline is perfect because it’s not quite a mock turtleneck but it wraps around your neck to provide more warmth. I also love it paired with leopard print.
And you know I can’t resist mixing some more patterns 🙂
Lastly, this green number is one of the softest fabrics yet. I could sleep in this one quite easily too (definitely a tie between the chenille sweater and this one for softness). You could belt this look with a braided belt if you wanted to, but I actually liked the looseness of it. The length is typically something I wouldn’t go for because of my lack of height (being only 5’3″) but I love it with my tall boots. The print on the boots gives the eye something new to concentrate on but is still complimentary to the look.
If you don’t already know my posts for Dad’s Primitive Workbench are sponsored which means that you get a coupon code to use at the shop!! There’s always a Buy One Get One 50% off for the boutique shop items but when you give the code: Randomosity 740 you will receive an extra 10% off on top of that! Perfect timing for the holidays and dropping temps.
Which sweater was your favorite?
